Usyk and Gassiev will challenge $10 million

Ukrainian Alexander Usyk and Russian Murat Gassiev, two undefeated world champions, will challenge the Mohammed Ali Trophy and a prize of $10 million in the final of the World Boxing Super Series, scheduled for May 11 in Saudi Arabia. The total prize fund of the tournament will be 50 million.

On the way to the final, Usyk got a unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Mairis Briedis on January 27 at his home arena in Riga and became the world champion of two versions, WBO and WBC. Last weekend in Sochi Gassiev spectacularly knocked out Cuban Yunier Dorticos in the 12th round and he also now owns two belts - IBF and WBA.
