On the air of the last issue of The MMA Hour former UFC champion in women's minimal weight, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, talked about how much weight loss can affect the athlete's health and performance in the fight.
"I always wanted to talk to Rousey about how she felt at the night of the fight, in which she lost to Holm. I was afraid to ask her about this earlier, because I was winning. In fact, we have one agent and in conversation with him I reported that my legs were numb and I felt somewhat awkward. The funny thing is that Ronda felt the same way: before the fight with Holm she had a terrible weight loss.
"I would like to meet her and make an interview to protect other fighters, the younger ones. Just to protect them. Our life is priceless, therefore, we must take this seriously. While I have not spoken on this subject with Ronda yet, but I will definitely do. The funniest thing is that people do not believe that your brain can be frozen, but weight slicing can affect your game. It happened to me and Rousey - we paid big price for the weight loss.
"Critics did not go through this, so they do not understand. They do not understand what we need to go through, but one day I'll explain everything to everyone," said Jedrzejczyk.
