In one of the main events of the evening at the Barclays Center in New York, Robert Easter Jr. (21-0, 14 KOs) in a hard and stubborn confrontation got a difficult split decision win over Javier Fortuna (33-2-1, 23 KOs), thus defending his IBF lightweight title. The fight was not the most spectacular one and had a large abundance of clinches. As a result of 12 rounds, two judges preferred Easter - 115-114 and 115-112, the third give the fight to Fortuna - 115-114.

In the second round, Fortuna was deducted one point for holding and hitting.

Before the battle, Fortune did not make the weight, and the title was at stake only for Easter.
