The official weigh-in procedure took place on the eve of the first big event this year on January 20 in New York on Showtime, and in the main event of which Errol Spence Jr. will defend his title against former world champion Lamont Peterson. The weight of Spence was 147 pounds (66.6 kg), Peterson - 146.75 pounds (66.5 kg).

Other weigh-in results:

Robert Easter Jr. 134.5 pounds (61 kg) - Javier Fortuna 136.8 pounds (62 kg)*

Adam Kownacki 260 pounds (118 kg) - Iago Kiladze 220.5 pounds (100 kg)**

Marcus Brown 175.75 pounds (79.7 kg) - Francy Ntetu 174.5 pounds (79.1 kg)

*Fortuna has two hours to make a lightweight limit of 135 pounds (61.2 kg). After an unsuccessful weigh-in, Fortune said that the cold weather of New York prevented him from dropping weight in time.

**Thus, Kownacki outweighed his opponent by 18 kg, while he's 1 cm lower, and showed a weight of 8 kg more than before his previous fight.
