Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father of the Russian UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, shared his impressions of his son's victory over Edson Barboza in the duel at UFC 219 tournament in Las Vegas.
"Everything went according to plan, everything was good. Barboza surprised me with his stamina. I thought that he would be exhausted in the second round but he stood the whole fight. The task was to put pressure on Barboza. Khabib worked with specialists from Russia and America. Barboza needed to be deprived of space, under strong pressure he is lost," Nurmagomedov Sr. said.
