Vargas decisions Herrera

After 13 months of layoff former world champion in two weight classes Jesse Vargas (28-2, 10 KOs) successfully returned to the ring closing his last defeat at the hands of the legendary Manny Pacquiao. In the 10 round battle Vargas got a onesided unanimous decision over Aaron Herrera (33-8-1, 22 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the Pioneer Event Center in Lancaster, California. In the sixth round, Herrera was knocked down. The scores were: three times 100-89.
