British welterweight Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) does not give up trying to hold another title fight and focused on WBO champion Australian Jeff Horne (17-0-1, 11 KOs). Sensationally Horn got his belt defeating legendary Manny Pacquiao by judges decision. Khan has not been in the ring since May 2016, when he suffered a heavy knockout defeat from Saul Alvarez.

"Horn is a fighter which has made a lot of noise lately. Maybe it's a fight that we could organize. I have no problems arriving in Australia for such a fight. Before the fight against Pacquiao I knew nothing about him. I'd like to come to his fight with Concoran, see it live, to know what he's, because on TV it's different. I think that Horn will have the courage to fight me," Khan said.

On December 13 Horn defended his belt in a fight against British Gary Concoran.
