Olympic silver medalist Denys Berinchyk (7-0, 4 KOs) will have his first title fight on December 16 in Brovary, Ukraine. Berinchyk will face the representative of the Philippines Allan Vallespin (11-1, 8 KOs). The vacant WBO Orinetal belt will be at stake.
The day before Vallespin in an interview with local media said that it would not be an easy walk for the Ukrainian and that Berinchyk did not see the speed that Vallespin bring to the table on a fight night.
Berinchyk did not stay silent and turned to his rival with the following words:
"Dear Allan. I think that I will not respond with insolence for what you said. I think we'll check it all in the ring: your speed, your Filipino skills. See you on December 16th in Brovary, do not fear to come, I'm waiting for you."
Nowadays Berinchyk trains in the mountains in the town of Bukovel together with Alexander Usyk (13-0, 11 KOs) and Oleg Malinovsky (21-0, 5 KOs).
