Sergei Vatamanyuk, coach of the Olympic silver medalist 2012 Denys Berinchyk (7-0-0, 4 KOs) spoke about the training of his fighter on the eve of his first title fight in December, and development of his fighter for 7 fights in pro ranks and much more.

About the preparation for the fight: "Preparation goes as usual. We have three training sessions a day, and they are hard. This is the second stage of preparation, which is before sparring. Then there will be sparring and the fight itself. There are several options for us, how to build the training process, but we have not yet made a final decision. In any case, some corrections will be made depending on the opponent. But we’ll have 10 rounds – which is more than 8."

On the motivation for the first title fight: "We are preparing for each fight equally well, we do not have an underestimation of the opponent, no revaluation. We do not have that. This fight will not be an exception, especially since it will be the first title for Denis, so we are setting ourselves up for a good work. Moreover, the duel will be our first 10-rounder".

On the development of Berinchyk for 7 fights in the pros: "You can compare the current level of Denis and his level in the first battle in the pros. He became much more serious, he became more responsible, he understands much more what he needs to do in order to reach his goal. In this case, the title stimulates him."
