Linares defeats Campbell by split decision

WBA Lightweight Champion Jorge Linares (43-3, 27 KOs) defended his title with the win over Olympic 2012 Champion Luke Campbell (17-2, 14 KOs) via split decision. The scores were: 115-112, 114-113 - Linares, and 113-115 - Campbell. This meeting was the main event of the evening in Inglewood, California, which was broadcast on the HBO, and hosted by Golden Boy Promotions.

In the second round, Linares was able to send Campbell down.
