Former world boxing champion Zab Judah was sentenced by the Queens County Court to a three-month prison sentence for refusing to pay alimony. 39-year-old boxer had to pay $120,000 in order to avoid punishment, but he could not collect "even a part of this amount."
This is not the first time that Judah has had problems with paying alimony. In 2016, the Nevada Athletic Commission suspended him for 18 months for falsifying documents on arrears in payment of alimony. In addition, in 2014, he was arrested for driving in a state of intoxication, and in January of last year the boxer got into an accident, after which he introduced himself not by his own name. Also in 2016, he was accused of domestic violence.
