Former European champion in the cruiserweight division Ukrainian Dmytro Kucher will be one of the sparring partners of the WBO champion Alexander Usyk in his preparation for a fight against former world champion Marco Huck on September 9 in Berlin.
Kucher last fought in November 2016 against Huck and lost via unanimous decision. Since than he did not fight, but he is going to return in the ring before the end of the year.
For the last two weeks Kucher spent at the training camp in Tysovets, in the Carpathians, where he was gaining his conditions after a long rest with the Ukrainian amateur team. At the end of this week, August 6, Dmitry, along with his coach Anatoly Gavrilov, will return to the Carpathian mountains again, this time to Bukovel, where he will help Usyk to prepare for a fight with Huck in the quarterfinal fight of the World Boxing Super Series.
