There has been talk about the possible return of four-time former world champion Juan Manuel Marquez between July and August, but an injury to the left arm has derailed the future Hall of Famer’s comeback. Márquez underwent a medical examination and reportedly has a torn left bicep. The recovery time could be between three to four weeks.

Although Marquez’s ring return will be delayed, he will continue to train. Fans are hoping for a possible fight between Marquez and fellow multiple-time world champion Miguel Cotto by the end of the year.
