Unbeaten cruiserweight Oleksandr Usyk (12-0, 10 KOs) defended his WBO title with a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Michael Hunter (12-1, 8 KOs) on Friday night at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland. Hunter gave Usyk some problems early but Usyk figured him out in round four. Usyk outworked him the rest of the way and was credited a knockdown over Hunter in round twelve when he knocked him into the ropes. Scores were 117-110, 117-110, 117-110.
