"I started my training in Russia, in the highlands at Elbrus - we did the first stage of a training camp there with Fedor Emelianenko's team. I spent two weeks with them and it was great. Fedor is big, so we didn't train together, but he has a big team with a lot of lightweights.
We trained together, helped each other - it was cool. Even if you don't spar with Fedor, his presence in the same gym with you is very inspiring and motivating. I'm very grateful to him for that," Tsarukyan said on the air of The MMA Hour show.
