UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan explained why he criticizes his next opponent, the organization's former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, while talking to the press.
"Charles is a good guy, but I have to talk about him. To get people talking about our fight. If Charles and I keep quiet, no one will know about our fight. As it is, a lot of people want to see us fight. I take the fight against Oliveira very seriously, because he is a former champion. We haven't met Charles, but I think he understands why I'm doing this," Tsarukyan said in an interview with The MMA Hour.
The bout between Tsarukyan and Oliveira will take place on April 14 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
