A rematch between outright super flyweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) is set to take place at Boxing Night Las Vegas in June. According to RTE, the bout could be staged at the Sphere Arena and could be the first such martial arts event at the new $2.3 billion venue, which opened in September 2023.

Taylor and Serrano's first fight took place two years ago at lightweight. Taylor won by split decision of the judges, and this event became the most profitable in the history of women's professional boxing.

In her last professional appearance, the Irishwoman won on points over Chantel Cameron. Serrano was outpointed by Danille Ramos in October.
