It was previously reported that the 36-year-old American, while heavily intoxicated, threatened to kill a Drug Free Sport anti-doping officer who came to his home in Albuquerque.
"I want to respond to reports that I threatened the doping officer's life. Here is a video of both officers leaving my home after taking the tests. We exchanged a handshake and a hug. I was unhappy with their unprofessionalism and cussed out my displeasure, but it ended quite amicably. There was nothing threatening about my behavior. I was celebrating my friend's birthday at my home. I believe it is perfectly normal to celebrate something like this in the comfort of your own home.
I must say that one of the officers behaved in a very unprofessional manner and violated standard protocol and violated HIPAA law. In 20 years of doping tests, I have yet to experience something like this when dealing with doping officers," Jones wrote on Instagram.
