BMF belt holder Justin Gaethje has spoken out about his upcoming fight with Max Holloway.
"When we were at the press conference for the UFC 300 tournament, he was definitely as big as me, even heavier. So Max is a big, big guy. Hopefully, because he's going to be bigger and a little bit heavier than usual, his speed is going to come down. Over the years, I've really gotten into what I do in MMA and who I am and my ability to do damage. It doesn't matter who is standing across from me in the octagon. These guys signed a contract and it's my time to win. I'm in much better shape now, I'm much more confident in my abilities. I think the best outcome of our fight will be if the doctor stops it. I have nothing but respect for Max. If I can break his arm, make it so he can't walk anymore, that would be an ideal situation for me than if I knock him out. Max will try to knock me out, so it won't hurt me if I succeed in knocking him out," MMA Mania quoted Gatji as saying.
