Santos gave her reasons for leaving the UFC

Former UFC flyweight title challenger Tayla Santos revealed why she made the decision not to renew her employment agreement with the biggest MMA organization.

"I was competing in the UFC, but I wasn't very happy. It all started with a title fight against Shevchenko. I clearly won, and it was one of the first tough fights of Valentina's career. Before that, no fighter had done what I had done. A lot of people wanted to see a rematch, fans were asking for it, but it never happened.

There were also some frustrating things with the calendar and dates. I had one fight last year, and again simple - no dates and no information on how long I had to wait. I waited a long time after each fight and it was frustrating. So I worked off the contract and did not sign a new one," - quotes the words of the Brazilian woman MMA Junkie.

Recall that the 30-year-old Santos has already joined the PFL. On the night of April 5 at the PFL 1 tournament in San Antonio, USA, the Brazilian will share the cage with compatriot Hilara Joanne in the opening bout of the Grand Prix women's flyweight tournament.
