"I had surgery on Tuesday and I think I could be fit in 12 weeks. I plan to come back in August, I want to fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov. I like his style, I've always wanted to fight him. I consider him the best fighter in the division and I assume it will be a tough fight. I heard he has an injury, but he will be ready by August, so we have similar situations. If the fight with Shawkat can not be organized, I would like to fight Kamaru Usman," said Della Maddalena in an interview with The Grin Reapers Podcast.
Recall that Della Maddalena knocked out Gilbert Burns on March 9 at UFC 299.
