Former world middleweight champion Tim Tszyu of Australia has made his first statement since losing to American Sebastian Fundora in the main event of Boxing Night in Las Vegas, USA.

At the end of 12 rounds Tszyu lost by split decision and lost his WBC title. At stake in the meeting was also the vacant WBC belt.

"I give credit to the opponent who won today. It's boxing, part of the sport, it happens. He's the new king of our division. We'll be back. I still fought bright and gave my all. I don't want to make excuses.

I'm ready to fight any opponent, anytime. I'm ready to fight Fundora again," Tszyu said after the fight.
