Egor Golub, trainer of Ukrainian lightweight boxer Denis Berinchik (18-0, 9 KOs), shared expectations from the fight of his ward against Mexican Emanuel Navarrete (38-1-1, 31 KOs).

The fight between the Ukrainian and the Mexican, at the stake of which will be the vacant WBO belt in the lightweight division, will take place on May 18 in San Diego, California, USA.

"I knew what will be our opponent Navarrete back in February, so I had already watched his fights and I had seen his fights before that. So I was already making an analysis, what we need to build up, so we are sorting it out, together with Denis we watched the fights, analyzed. That's why we are preparing.

Everything goes according to plan, we arrived at the training camp very early. We have already been training for 2 months. We have 2 more months of training ahead of us, so thank God, everything is going according to plan. This is an important fight for me and Denis. It is a fight for the world title, it is our goal, it is our dream. We don't need any additional motivation.

We know that the whole country, all our friends, all our families will be cheering for us. So we are motivated, we are working fruitfully in camp, and we will do everything to make sure the belt comes home. We are preparing and we believe in winning. I believe in myself, I believe in Denis, I believe in our tandem that everything will work out.

We will make our dream, to which Denis is going for a very long time, and to which I have been going with him since the 18th year," said Golub.
