The WBO is up against six judges for Usik's fight with Fury

Paco Valcárcel, president of the WBO, responded to a question about whether the organization he heads would agree that the fight between world heavyweight champions Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury should be officiated by six judges instead of three.

"This topic has been discussed among the sanctioning organizations. I don't believe that this proposal will add anything to boxing because judges must be competent and three is enough. So, no, I will not agree to 6 judges," - quotes the functionary WBN.

Recall, the confrontation between Usik and Fury, at stake in which will stand the title of absolute world champion in heavyweight, will be held on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
