Okolie-Różański on May 24 in Poland

It has been officially confirmed that a WBC world bantamweight title fight will take place on May 24 in Rzeszów, Poland as part of KnockOut Boxing night. Reigning champion Lukasz Różański (15-0, 14 KOs) will face former world featherweight champion Lawrence Okolie (19-1, 14 KOs).

Ruzhansky won the WBC bantamweight title last April by knocking out Croatian Alen Babic. Lawrence Okolie was the WBO world featherweight champion from 2021-2023. The performance in Rzeszów will be a return to the ring for the Englishman after the loss of the title and an attempt to win the championship belt in the second weight category in his career. The winner of this fight will be obliged to defend the WBC title against Kevin Lerena.
