Canelo wouldn't let Garcia fight

Saul Alvarez, the outright super middleweight champion of the world, is concerned about the mental state of WBC bantamweight title challenger Ryan Garcia. According to Canelo, he would not allow Ryan to enter the ring if he had the opportunity.

"As his friend, I wouldn't let him fight. The only thing I wish right now is that he has people around him to help him because he needs it," Alvarez told DAZN.

Garcia is scheduled to fight current WBC bantamweight champion Devin Haney on April 20. Ahead of this fight, it became known that Ryan will have to undergo a psychological evaluation.
