American UFC lightweight fighter Corey Sandhagen said he has no interest in fighting Dagestan's Umar Nurmagomedov outside of his home country.
"I don't know if I have to fly to the other side of the world to fight him. I'm giving him a chance - that's what our fight looks like from the outside. I'm someone who is willing to give him a chance to show that he deserves to be the next champion in this division, but I really don't like the idea of traveling halfway across the world for him to get an advantage in a fight," Sandhagen was quoted as saying by BJ Penn.
Earlier it was reported that the meeting between Sandhagen and Nurmagomedov could take place on June 29 in Las Vegas.
