Nurmagomedov: "Negotiations about the fight with Sandhagen are almost finalized"

Undefeated UFC lightweight prospect Umar Nurmagomedov said his representatives have almost agreed on a fight with Corey Sandhagen. According to the fighter, the parties are left to settle the last details.

"My manager is in talks with the UFC about organizing this fight, and at the moment the question remains as to when we will have the fight. I think it could be June or some other time, the date doesn't matter to me. I can fight at any time.

It all depends on the UFC. I hope the fight doesn't fall through and I get to share the octagon with Sandhagen. Plus Corey talked about it, I talked about it, the UFC talked about making this fight happen before my fight with Bekzat Almahan. Now I just have to wait for them to pick a date," MMA Fighting quoted Nurmagomedov as saying.
