Former UFC lightweight title challenger Brandon Royval has made it clear that he has no interest in fighting undefeated division prospect Muhammad Mokaev at this point in his career.
"I think Mokaev's desire to sway me towards a fight is a stupid idea. Because if you look at the situation in the division, either me or him will get a title shot. So I want to get a championship fight against Pantoja. The fight against Mokaev will happen eventually. But right now, I want to face Pantoja. I'll be ready for the UFC 301 tournament. And I'm sure that I will defeat the champion," - quotes Royval MMA Junkie.
Recall that in late February, Royval won a split decision over Brandon Moreno.
