Whittaker: "O'Malley is an uncomfortable opponent for Dvalishvili."

Former UFC welterweight champion Robert Whittaker spoke on the topic of the upcoming fight between the promotion's lightweight titleholder Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.

"I think O'Malley is an uncomfortable opponent for Dvalishvili. O'Malley has creativity, not to mention all the skills in his arsenal. If you think he's going to deliver straight line attacks, you're very much mistaken. Sean will use all of his weapons, will also be throwing knee strikes, just like he did in the third or fourth round of his fight with Vera.

O'Malley showed in his last fight that he can make changes on the fly. If you think he can't do all of that in a fight against Merab, you're just fooling yourself. Sean is a phenomenal fighter," Whittaker said on the MMArcade podcast.

Recall, on March 9 at UFC 299, O'Malley made the second defense of his title, defeating Marlon Vera by unanimous decision of the judges.
