Sayat Abdrakhmanov, manager of former UFC flyweight champion Petr Yan, revealed who is a relevant opponent for his ward.
"The most relevant fight for Petr is the bout with Marlon Vera. The Ecuadorian has been vociferous towards Yan in the past, but now he has lost his title fight. Their bout could very well claim to be the main fight of the evening in the five-round format. We are interested in this confrontation," said Abdrakhmanov.
Recall, on March 10 at UFC 299 Peter Yan won a unanimous decision over Song Yadong. With this win, Yan closed a three-fight losing streak in a row to Aljamain Sterling, Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.
