Joshua: 'I told Ngannou he shouldn't retire from boxing'

Former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua commented on his victory over mixed martial arts star, former UFC heavyweight division titleholder Francis Ngannou.

"When I saw the fight between Ngannou and Fury, I realized this guy can fight. I said to myself, 'I want to face him.' He inspires people, he's a great champion. He lost, but he has a lot of potential. I think he can come back. I told Francis he shouldn't retire from boxing. He will succeed," - said the Briton.

Recall that Joshua brutally knocked out Ngannou in the second round. Their fight became the main event of the evening of boxing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
