Sirenko's fight did not take place because of his opponent's arrest

Alexandr Ormanji March 6, 2024, 8:25 a.m.

On the night of March 6, Ukrainian super featherweight prospect Vladyslav Sirenko was scheduled to fight Deon Ronnie Hale, a Jordanian with a speaking record of 5-17-1, 4 KOs. This fight was seen as Sirenko's comeback after a long layoff. But, alas, it never materialized. The reason is extremely unusual: Hale was arrested. This was reported by Sirenko himself.

"The opponent was arrested before he arrived at the fight. Such in my experience has never happened before! But the battle will be done. A little later. Right now we're working on it. There were a lot of problems before this fight. And everything was decided almost at the last moment. I didn't know until the last moment whether the fight would take place or not. Only on the day of the fight, at 14:00, it was definitely known that the fight will not be", - quotes the boxer vRINGe.
