McGregor: "I'm still hopeful for the fight on June 29"

Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor announced that he still expects to fight on June 29 during International Fight Week in Las Vegas.

"I'm still hoping to fight on June 29. However, the lack of any movement on that has dampened my enthusiasm. I need to make a decision soon. I am the most doping-tested athlete under the new regime. But there is still no date for the fight. The game is a little loose at the moment.

I'm hoping the new cards will fall out soon and I'll get a fight date. I'll eliminate all distractions and start working hard," the Irishman wrote in X.

McGregor's next opponent is expected to be Michael Chandler.
