Khabib: "I was given a car when I was 20 - my father took it away"

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov passed away in the summer of 2020 due to complications from a coronavirus.

"After the world championship in 2009, he gave me a car. I was 20 years old at the time. I was given a car - my father took it away. My dad says, 'No! You're not going to have a car. I will drive the car, and you will train," MMA Junkie quotes Nurmagomedov as saying.

Khabib ended his career in the fall of 2020 with an unblemished 29-0 record. In his last fight, the Dagestani earned an early victory over Justin Gaethje.
