UFC lightweight champion Sean O'Malley believes he could pull off a win over former two-weight belt holder Conor McGregor.
"My skills are better. I can fight in both right-handed and left-handed stand-up. I have very good defense and my striking is the best in MMA. If I fought peak McGregor when he knocked out Jose Aldo, I would still be lighter, taller and faster than him. I think our fight would be very competitive," O'Malley told PBD Podcast.
As a reminder, O'Malley will rematch his only MMA offender, Marlon Vera, on the night of March 10. The fight will be the main event of the UFC 299 tournament in Miami, USA.
