Muhammad outlined the timing of the duel with Rakhmonov

Number two in the UFC welterweight division rankings Belal Muhammad revealed its plans for 2024.

The Palestinian-American predicts that in June he will take the championship belt from the British Leon Edwards, and in October he will hold his first defense against the undefeated Kazakh Shavkat Rakhmonov.

“Looking ahead, Leon in June and the first defense against Shavkat in October,” Muhammad wrote on the social network X.

Let us remember that 35-year-old Muhammad is on a streak of five victories in a row. In his last fight, which took place last May at UFC 288, the American won a unanimous decision against Gilbert Burns.
