Joshua's ex-trainer: "Any fight is dangerous, especially against a knockout artist like Ngannou"

Angel Fernandez, ex-trainer of the former unified world heavyweight champion British Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs), shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight between the Briton and the Cameroonian mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou (0-1).

“Any fight is dangerous, especially against a puncher like Ngannou. Both are great fighters. I think AJ's plan is to stay out of jab range, work his feet and use his distance.

This does not mean giving away the initiative, on the contrary, instead he needs to seize the advantage for me to believe that he can win,” Fernandez said in an interview with talkSPORT.

Let us remind you that the Joshua-Ngannou fight will take place on March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
