Kovalchuk explained why the WBC is ready to sanction the fight between Bivol and Beterbiev

Nikolai Kovalchuk, President of WBC Ukraine commented on the fact that the President of the WBC World Federation Mauricio Suleiman is ready to sanction a fight between a friend of dictator Ramzan Kadyrov Artur Beterbiev and Russian Dmitry Bivol, who recently received a Kyrgyz passport without much publicity. According to Kovalchuk, Suleiman had no choice.

“Mauricio held the blow for 3 years. But you must understand one simple thing. Any boxing organization significantly depends on promoters and television broadcasters. The existence of the organization depends on relations with them. Now almost all promoters depend heavily on the Arabs. Because most of the high-paying fights take place there.
