Ali Abdel-Aziz, a well-known manager in the world of mixed martial arts, said that his ward, the current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev will hold at least two fights this year.

“Regardless of what dates the UFC offers Islam, he will have at least two fights this year. It’s 100 percent,” Ali Abdel-Aziz said in an interview with The Schmo.

Earlier, rumors appeared on the Internet that Islam could fight in June with one of the main contenders for the lightweight champion title, Justin Gaethje.

Let us remind you that Makhachev spent his last fight in October last year, winning by knockout in the first round against Alex Volkanovski.
