Mayor of Kyiv and former world heavyweight boxing champion Vitaliy Klichko summed up the results of the second anniversary of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
“For two years of large-scale war, the capital defended itself, lived and worked. In total, Ukraine has been fighting off the Russian aggressor for 10 years.
We, each in our own place, are doing everything for Victory and the liberation of our state from Russian barbarians.
We honor the memory of fallen defenders and help their families. We send funds to the military, update damaged infrastructure, and ensure the functioning of the capital.
I thank the people of Kiev who stood side by side in the first days and weeks of a full-scale war so that Kyiv, the heart of Ukraine, could survive. Thanks to the people of Kiev who work to provide services to the citizens.
Thanks to our soldiers who heroically fight for the freedom of Ukraine in the hell of war! Our strength lies in the fact that we defend truth and justice, our will. And our strength lies in unity and dignity.
Glory to Ukraine and its Heroes,” Klitschko wrote in his Telegram channel.
