Costa has decided on his opponent after losing to Whittaker

Former UFC middleweight title challenger Paulo Costa stated that in his next fight he would like to face off against the former champion of the division below Kamaru Usman.

“Kamaru Usman at middleweight is very exciting. Gourmand Chen-Chen (we are talking about Khamzat Chimaev - editor’s note) couldn’t finish it, but I could have done it,” Costa wrote on the social network X.

Let us remind you that at the UFC 298 tournament, held on February 17 in Anaheim, USA, Costa lost by unanimous decision to Robert Whittaker. For the Brazilian, this fight was the first in a year and a half.
