UFC CEO Dana White commented on information in the media according to which the former champion of the promotion in the middleweight category Israel Adesanya will fight with the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev June 23 at a tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“This fight will not happen. This was a fake post. All the media covering MMA and spreading it is only causing problems. Absolute clowns,” White wrote on his X page.

Let us remember that Adesanya has not appeared in the Octagon since September last year, when he lost a unanimous decision to Sean Strickland and lost his title. As for Chimaev, his last performance was in October, defeating Kamaru Usman by split decision.
