Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker does not rule out that in the next fight he may meet with another ex-leader of the division Sean Strickland.
On February 17, at UFC 298 in Anaheim, USA, Whittaker defeated Paulo Costa by unanimous decision.
“It could happen. There are many options in the middleweight division, anyone can fight anyone at any time and anywhere. The UFC has always given me opponents and I haven’t had to choose, so I won’t change my approach,” Whittaker said at a press conference.
Let us remind you that on January 20, at the UFC 297 show, Strickland lost by split decision to Drikus Du Plessis and lost his championship belt.
