Paulo Costa, a former contender for the UFC middleweight championship belt, commented on his defeat in today's fight with the organization's former champion in this weight, Robert Whittaker.
“During the fight, I felt like I was winning by applying a lot of pressure and hurting his face, but the judges decided otherwise. In any case, I finished without injury and next time I will push even harder to finish off my opponent. I love you all,” the Brazilian fighter wrote on his social networks.
The fight between Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker took place this morning in Anaheim as part of the co-main event of UFC 298 and ended with Whittaker winning by unanimous decision.
