Eugene Barmine, trainer of former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, confirmed the information that his ward has been training for a month and a half and is preparing to return to the Octagon.

“He's back to training, so he's back in action. Yes, we are training for the eventuality of a fight, so we are getting him in shape and preparing him for a potential fight if one happens in the near future. Essentially, he's finished his short break and is ready to return. So just give us a date, give us an opponent, and we'll come. We've been working for a month and a half now. A couple more months and it will fly and return to the level preceding the break. He looks good. It's great that he's back in the gym. He has new energy and takes very good care of himself. He has made the most of his holiday and feels refreshed and ready for work.”
