Vyacheslav Senchenko, a famous Ukrainian trainer, spoke about the cut, which Tyson Fury received in preparation for a fight with Alexander Usik, and because of which the fight was postponed to May 18.
“I wouldn’t look for something like that here. After all, there are medical commissions. This is not the same level. You can’t just “stick on” something here. There are two teams working here. There are investors who have invested huge amounts of money. There is Usik’s team, which, I believe, had to act depending on the situation. It is even possible to personally check and confirm the injury. Most likely, what they are talking about happened - an injury during sparring. I can’t imagine how you can stage a “production” at such a level. I’m sure this is not the level at which it could go.”
