Michael Johnson: "I still dream of becoming UFC champion"

American UFC lightweight veteran Michael Johnson shared his future career plans.

“I want to do as many shows as possible. There are still three fights left on the contract, and I would like to fight all three this year, get a new contract and get as close as possible to the top of the division.

I still want to become the best in the world, I dream of becoming a UFC champion, regardless of when this comes true. If I have to start over from scratch and fight newbies, then so be it.

Now I’m in a great position: I’m healthy, I have a great team behind me, a great attitude, and I’ll continue to work on it,” BJ Penn quotes Johnson as saying.
