Maccarinelli on postponing the fight between Usik and Fury: “I don’t think it will benefit anyone”

Former world heavyweight champion, British Enzo Maccarinelli shared his thoughts on the postponement of the fight between the holder of the WBC belt in the heavyweight division, the British Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Ukrainian WBA, WBO and IBF champion Alexander Usik (21-0, 14 KOs).

Let us remind you that the meeting between Usik and Fury was planned for February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but was canceled due to a cut received by the “Gypsy King” during the training camp. Now the boxers are scheduled to meet on May 18 there.

“I don’t think that postponing the fight will do anyone any good. They will both be in full readiness, both will be at the peak of their capabilities. “I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again: Fury will win this fight,” Boxing Social quotes Maccarinelli as saying.
