Usik's manager explained why he called Fury a coward

Alexandr Ormanji Feb. 9, 2024, 4:59 p.m.

Egis Klimas, manager of the world heavyweight champion (WBA, WBO, IBF) Alexandra Usika explained why he named his opponent Ukrainian Tyson Fury WBC world champion, a coward.

ā€œI didnā€™t mean that he was afraid to fight with Usyk. Fury is a professional who has fought many times. He cannot be afraid. Many heavyweight fighters are afraid to get into the ring. But Fury is not like that. He is not afraid of Usyk. After all, Alexander is small, and he is big. But he is afraid of losing to Oleksandr Usyk. That's what his fear is. Fury may not feel it, but it is so,ā€ the functionary said.

Let us remind you that the other day it became known that the fight between Usik and Fury was postponed to May 18.
